to the governments of Iran, Somalia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Mauritania,

To abolish stoning in law and in practice;
To prosecute those who are responsible for extrajudicial stoning;

To the government of Afghanistan:

To prosecute those who are responsible for extrajudicial stoning

To the international community:

To urge the governments of these countries to put an end to this inhuman form of execution.

INTERNATIONAL ROLE

HRWF Int'l is one of the most active NGOs promoting human rights at the European Parliament and in other EU institutions. HRWF is also very active at the UN in Geneva, at the OSCE in Warsaw and Vienna.

HRWF promotes norm implementation by pressuring target actors to adopt better policies and by monitoring compliance with international standards.
